Purchased a domain, and it did not merge with my blog

    So I have a page: supernintendopi.wordpress.com

    I have been getting a lot of traffic on this site for quite a while, and I decided that I wanted to put ads on it. Upon going through the WordAds process, it told me that I needed to have a registered domain in order to sign up for WordAds. I checked out the pricing, and decided that $18 was something I could afford. I went through the process of taking my current blog (supernintendopi.wordpress.com) and registering the domain supernintendopi.com. I made the transaction, and the page was setup… Only… It made an entirely new site.

    What I wanted it to do was to take the content that already existed (and the page view stats and everything else) and push it over to the address supernintendopi.com.

    Instead, I now have 2 pages. One is paid for and completely blank, and has no stats, and does not show up in a google search, and the other one, which gets all the traffic is still not eligible for WordAds.

    What happened?

    Hi there! It appears as if you haven’t yet confirmed your domain registration email. Could you please take a look in your email box (including your spam filter) for this confirmation note? Your domain is currently pending, once you have confirmed, the process can move forward. Thanks so much!
