Put links on the header image?

    Is it possible to put the links under the header (mine is saying “Hem”) across the header, like in this (dessies.se) blog? (her links are named “HEM” and “KONTAKT”). And is it possible to make the black line where they are placed transparent?

    My blog url is pippih.se

    (Btw, if my english isn’t very good it’s because I’m swedish)

    The blog I need help with is pippih.se.

    Traditionally the links shown under the header were to static pages that you create, but with the custom menu feature you can link to just about anything in those tabs such as categories, external links to your non-blog website, and about anything else you can dream up.

    And your english is just fine.

    I forgot to address the black background. Yes it can be made white or transparent. The color of the text would of course have to be changed.

    The basic background color for the menu area is under #access in the CSS

    #access {
        background:none repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;

    Font color (when not hovered with mouse) is here:

    #access ul li.current_page_item > a, #access ul li.current-menu-ancestor > a, #access ul li.current-menu-item > a, #access ul li.current-menu-parent > a {
    color: #000000;

    This will lighten up the background when a mouse is hovered over the tab.

    #access li:hover > a, #access ul ul:hover > a {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #CCCCCC !important;

    Thanks, but is it possible to move the menu up a bit so that it’s across the header image?

    i fixed it myself :)
