Putting posts on different pages

  1. Hello

Basically, what I'm trying to do is create a site that has a tree structure of pages where the top level page will have four links (from a menu at the top of the page) to other pages. Each of these pages will then have links to several other pages, and each of these pages will have links to yet other pages. Eventually we get to the "leaves" of the tree - the pages where content is placed instead of links to other pages - and this is where I want to post! I hope that using WordPress will mean that the date and time that I post a post will be recorded and I will also then be able to use a widget to display on the home page what has been recently posted.

Currently I am using WAMP to display my workings to myself, but the site is not accessible externally, so you can't see it unfortunately... What I was going to say, was that at the moment, I can't seem to get WordPress to let me add posts to separate pages. How do I do this? -Does it only work with certain themes? -If so, can you recommend me some?

    Many thanks

    Tom

The blog I need help with is ijustwanttoposttoyourforum.wordpress.com.

  2. I forgot to mention, the theme I am using is "Magazine Pro", it is a Studio Press theme. We are subscribed to / paying for Studio Press, so recommendations of Studio Press themes would be useful.
