Hi there – could you please provide a link to the page or post where you tried to add the donation button so I can have a look? Thanks.

Thank you for replying. I have got a bit further with it on: My other books

That’s an admin edit page and we can’t see that. Is there a published page or post with the code in it?

Paste the code here between backticks and we can analyze it for you. Also, do you have a Merchant account, not just a personal one?

    1) That’s not the correct code for WordPress.com. See these instructions and ONLY these instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
    \
    2) ignore the spammer.

Hi there – in both of your examples, you’re attempting to use PayPal code which includes form tags. Form tags are are not permitted on WordPress.com and will be stripped out. You can read more about the types of code that are permitted on WordPress.com.

As raincoaster points out, our instructions for adding a PayPal donation button are detailed here. If you follow them step by step, the button should work.

Just let me know if you need further help.

Also – if you’d like to add a product button instead of a donation button, I’ve provided instructions and screenshots here.
