Query Strings: Can they be removed? If yes, how?

So, I used Pingdom to check my site’s speed. The results were quite good. However, it suggested that I should remove query strings from static resources (you may as well take a look here: http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/dOfKqt/http://gunsnwar.wordpress.com ). So…I was wondering: How am I supposed to do that?

The blog I need help with is gunsnwar.wordpress.com.

Hi gunsnwar, the way that query strings are placed in the URLs is part of the underlying code and cannot be changed for WordPress.com sites. If you would like more control over how your site is built and functions, you may be interested in a self-hosted WordPress.org site. You can read more about this here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org

    I hope this helps! :)

Hm…not interested at this moment in a self-hosted site, but I’ll keep it in mind. Anyway, thanks for answering! :)
