Question about fonts
-
Hi all,
I simply want (so far) to be able to choose between a few simple fonts – Verdana and Times New Roman as examples. Do I actually have to sign up for (I forget the name that I was presented with on the Dashboard) for another app just to get a different, non-fancy font?
Sure, the option I want is free, but is there a time limit on that offer? What happens when I don’t want to pay $ to use Times New Roman anymore?
Thanks for your help here.

By choosing a different theme, you can change which fonts are active for your blog.
You can also try typekit (http://www.typekit.com) which is a third party service that integrates with WordPress to give you more font choices.
Lastly you can get a CSS upgrade, which, if you know basic CSS, gives you control over fonts and other details of your blog.

@gotthefever Bear in mind that whatever font you choose will be overridden by the viewers’ browser settings anyway.
For example, I have Firefox set for Times New Roman and, no matter what the original font, TNR is what I see.
