Questions about running a news site.

    I am planning on running a news site for my area and have some advertising questions. I will have a site with all original news content which would only make money with local advertisers. Once my site has a large enough following I would want to use WordAds but I also would need to sell local ads. Can I sell and put local ads on my site if I choose to use wordpress?

    I have read your site and the stance on ads, but I would appreciate if someone could verify for me what my situation would be.
