  • trying to transfer domain quicktimesracingnews.com to godaddy.com account

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

That domain was registered using the username account, quicktimesracingnews. Only that user can transfer the domain.

Please log in as that account, and then follow the instructions below to transfer the domain:

Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  • I have logged into that account (on multiple occasions) and tried to follow the instructions. However, there is no ‘domain management’ tab on my site.
I managed to get a transfer authorization via another route, but when I tried to transfer the request came back ‘failed due to ineligible domain status’. My registration is up to date according to a WHOIS search, and not updated in the last 60 days so I’m unsure why it is ineligible for transfer.
This process is becoming very frustrating and time consuming. I own this domain and I want it transferred to GoDaddy. Your further assistance is requested in getting this accomplished as soon as possible.

  • Can you please log into that account and then reply here in this thread using that username?

Only the person logged into the account that owns the domain can initiate a transfer. I can’t even do it for you. As in that option does not exist for me. This is due to ICANN regulations that prohibit anyone but the domain owner from making changes to a domain.

  • beckywhite1 is the user name

  • beckywhite1 is the username of the account you are using to reply to this thread. It is NOT the username of the account that owns the domain.

The domain, quicktimesracingnews.com, belongs to the username account, quicktimesracingnews. This is a completely different WordPress.com account.

You need to be logged in as the username, quicktimesracingnews, to transfer that domain. There is no other way you will be able to transfer that domain. You need to log into the correct account.

  • What is the email address associated with that user name?
I have tried password reset but did not receive an email.

  • What is the email address associated with that user name?
I have tried password reset but did not receive an email.

  • Second part of this question is
How is this domain associated with two user names? When I am logged in as beckywhite1, I am seeing and posting to quicktimesracingnews.com.

  • What is the email address associated with that user name?

I cannot give that to you. We require you to give us the email address to verify you’re the owner of that account.

If you can’t remember the email address or the password, you’ll need to use the account recovery form to regain access:

Your account is a contributor on the site with an editor role. Editors can manage any content on the site, but cannot buy upgrades for a site, only admins can do that. And the site has only one admin, its owner, quicktimesracingnews.
