This is not a support question, I apologize if it’s out of topic here.
Presently, I have all my posts short, cut off with “Read More” button. I used to think that this way, people can scroll down and see more posts and if they see something interesting click to read more.
But now I’m not so sure. What do you advise? Is it better to leave all article as is. And some of my posts are long.
This is my blog: https://notlar11.wordpress.com/
The blog I need help with is zeynel1.wordpress.com.
Personally I prefer “Infinite Scroll” which only loads around 7 posts at a time as people scroll down. With “read more” the visitor has to open each individual post. To see further posts they have to make the effort of clicking out of one post back to where they were before and then click “read more” again to see just one more post. It’s too much like hard work (especially if your site is being viewed on a phone). As long as you have categories and archives widgets in the sidebar regular visitors should be able to navigate your site easily enough.
Ok, thanks. I think I’ll switch to infinite scroll as well. Do I need change any settings? I’ll just remove the Read More line from the posts.
