Hi there, I would like help using the read more tag. Nothing happens when I try to add <!–more–> to my blog posts so I went to look in index.php to see if there was something I could change.

Turns out there’s nothing in there about reading more (I have a custom theme), but maybe I could add some code there to make it work? Anyone know where I would put it? Thanks in advance!

Tinkering with .php files tells me you’re talking about a self-hosted site which means you should be over here:
