One of my regular readers reports sometimes getting the message “Sorry, this comment could not be posted” when trying to post a comment. Why is this happening? I don’t want my readers driven away by problems like this.

Working through intermediaries is not the way to go when one has a support issue. Please have the person with the WordPress.com username account experiencing this issue post into this thread. @raincoaster I don’t think so. I’ve warned readers about that and his comments are not being held for moderation. I suspect it’s something on his end, but I’ve no idea what.
– try turning off all browser extensions/add-ons or running it in safe mode. We can give him specific instructions if he posts here and tells us what browser and version he’s using.
