Hi, I created a wordpress blog from another account, and then I deleted the site. Now I want the same blog name under this new account but I’m not able to create one :( The blog name is inchness.wordpress.com and I assume once I’ve deleted it from my other account it should be available? Is there some way I can find it?

The blog I need help with is f1escape.wordpress.com.

Too bad you did not take the multiple warnings that site deletion is permanent and irreversible seriously. You cannot register any deleted blog URL. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and it must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click. Once the verification link for deletion is clicked the blog URL is forever gone, gone, gone.

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.

Hmm, I’m glad I exported the content and saved it in any case, but I assumed the urls were recyclable. Too bad they aren’t. Its alright though, I can find another one.
    Thanks for the help!
