Redirect Web Site

Am I reading correctly that there is a fee to use my domain here? The least expensive looks like the redirect. I want to make sure this is the only other fee before taking the steps. I’ve had this page for years and would hate to go through the hassle of moving it. Thanks for any insight.

The blog I need help with is underherbrim.wordpress.com.

    Hi there!

If what you want to do is to use a custom domain with your site underherbrim.wordpress.com, you’ll want to purchase any of our paid plans. Once you have a plan, you’ll be able to map the domain for free.

You can read more about our plans here:

    https://wordpress.com/pricing/

Let me know if you have any more questions regarding that.

I already have a few and don’t want to pay for another WordPress plan so thank you for the reply. I was willing to pay what I thought was a redirect fee of $13 but don’t see that as an option.

    Thanks again.

A redirect is not what you want here.

A Site Redirect is if you want to direct traffic away from your WordPress.com site, to a completely different website. In other words, if you had a site with us, but now you have a site somewhere else, but you want people who click on old, shared links for your WordPress.com site to find your new site, you’d use a site redirect.

To have your WordPress.com site appear at a custom domain, you need domain mapping, and that requires that you upgrade to a paid plan.
