Refund Domain

  1. Hi, domain auto renewed and charged and I didn't want it to. Followed refund options which say I can't contact staff until the 19th, but I have to put refund in within 48 hours. How do I get a refund?

The blog I need help with is

  2. Hi saraelsam,

I've added the modlook tag to get the staff's attention. If you are curious, you can read about how to get the staff's attention here: Getting Help in the Forums.

Please be patient while waiting for a response. The staff is away on their annual gathering, which may cause a delay.

    Best of luck!

  3. Thanks, that's appreciated! Will be patient but concerned that if they don't respond within 48 hours I will lose the money and keep a domain I don't use. We shall see, definitely turning auto renew off next time!

  4. I havent used my Domain and would like a full refund. How do I go about this?

  5. I stopped using it within it a month and assumed it would not auto renew without confirmation on my part. I did not want to renew.

  6. Also not looking for a full refund, just a refund on the unwanted automatic renewal.

  7. @saraelsam,

Staff can manually disable auto-renew. Just confirm that is your wish when they reply to this thread.

Please start a new thread of your own so you can receive assistance. Thanks!

  8. Hi saraelsam,

Do you want to keep the domain or do you no longer need it? Once a domain has been cancelled there is no guarantee you will be able to get it back again. For this reason, we only recommend cancelling if you are sure you won't need it again in the future.

If you are happy for me to go ahead and cancel the domain, just reply to confirm and I'll issue a refund.

  9. Thanks for getting in touch, I confirm that I would like to cancel the domain and get the refund please. Thank you for your prompt response!

  10. Hi saraelsam,

Thanks for letting me know. I've cancelled and refunded £15 to you. There is a copy of the refund receipt in your Billing History:

Refunds usually take 7-14 business days appear on your statement, although international refunds (outside the US) can take a little longer.

Come back to me if you need anything else.
