Hi, I purchased my own domain name under 48 hours ago and would like to get a refund for it and cancel the purchase (I was confused about wordpress.org hosting issues), I have contacted wordpress.com using the contact form and have not heard back. I just tried to do this again, but found that the “contact” page to say “we’ll be back soon” or something along those lines. I just want to deal with this before the 48 hours is up and I can’t get a refund. What other ways can I get in touch?
If you requested it within 48 hours, then you are good. Right now staff are doing some backend upgrades apparently, so it might be a little before they get back to you. I’ve tagged this thread for staff attention and hopefully they will see it and respond.
Also, check your ISP spam filter. Sometimes wordpress responses get caught by their spam filters.
