Refund request

  1. Hello,

    I purchased the 'value package' for my blog, thinking the 'custom design' feature would allow me to install custom themes. It doesn't, so I want to host the site on a third-party web hosting service and install themes there. I made the purchase exactly 30 days ago, though, and would like a refund today while the time window is still open. Thanks very much.

  4. Thanks, timethief. I've gone ahead and made the request. I'm a bit worried my request might get lost, though, since it's Sunday and all and I made the purchase exactly 30 days ago. Do you think I should anticipate any issues there?

  7. Howdy, I see that you purchased the Value Bundle for $99 for your blog at and canceled/refunded it on the same day. It usually takes about a week for your refund to post.

    Your custom domain name was purchased over 30 days ago (and the refund period for domain name registrations is 48 hours), so unfortunately it cannot be refunded at this point.

  8. My name is Britton Stewart. I have purchased my update through WordPress on October 22, 2012. I have made an error and am requesting a refund for my purchase. I understand that I have 30 days to request a refund. I am requesting a refund based on an error that I have made. Thanks and I want to have my refund processed as soon as possible.   9. My name is Britton Stewart and the domain that I had purchased thorough wordpress is I am requesting a refund as I had made an error. Please provide instruction onto receiving a refund. The domain was upgraded for purchase on October 22, 2012 for $26.00. I am requesting a refund as it is within the 30 day window for refunds. Thank you very much.

  10. @brittman2009: you purchased a domain mapping upgrade from us. The refund policy is 48 hours for new domain registrations, so I am not able to offer a refund at this time.

    If you want to use the same domain name with a different host, you can do it by changing the nameservers to point to your new host, following the instructions in this support document:
