I am having trouble with the zemanta related article link. I am trying to link to an older post of mine and it simply won’t pull it up even if I type in the name of the post and do a search. what am I doing wrong?

The blog I need help with is

Don’t use Zemanta for it. Simply create the link manually.
See here for how to create links in posts and pages >

This is the general format of a link:
    General link model:
    Highlighted anchor text here
This is a the appearance when complete though this isn’t a real link here in the forum:
    Highlighted anchor text here

You type the anchor text in first.
Then you use your mouse to highlight the anchor text ie. to “select” it. Then you click the link icon and the pop-up box appears for you to type the URL etc. into.

NOTE: The practice of using click “here” as anchor text is not a good one at all. The best practice is to use meaningful anchor text such as the exact title and/or keywords in the title in the article you are linking to.

    re: Zemanta
I use the Zemanta browser add-on as it can be set up to include posts in my own blog.

    Hey @reiddiane!

Our aggregator is only able to index app. 50 of your last posts or those who reach app. 2 months back. We are working really hard to extend that time gap as soon as possible and hopefully we’ll be able to announce this news sometime soon (although I wouldn’t like to give you any exact dates/promises).

But if you would like to reach some other posts rather than just those last 10 ones that are showing up in your widget, I’d suggest that you to use our search bar. I know it’s not the best solution at the moment, but we are also working on changing this as well sometime soon.

Once again — sorry for all the hassle we might have put you through and we certainly hope you’ll give us another chance. And please do not hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any kind of questions regarding our service — I’ll be more than glad to help you out!

Here’s my email address: (email redacted)

Take care & have a nice day!

thank you for the responses. I will get to work on this and see if I make progress.
