Remove blog capability

    A great way to transform your blog into a static website is to start by picking out a theme you like from Once you’ve picked out your theme, go to Customize – Static Front Page, and set your front page to “A static page.”

    This will transform your home page from a blog roll into a static website. For more information, including a video tutorial, check out these links:

    Once you’ve set your static page, you can then create your pages ( and navigation menus (, so readers can navigate your website.

    You won't be able to completely eliminate the "posts" functionality from your website, but you can always choose to use static pages instead.
