    Hello there,

    I see that you are using the Ladder theme

    Because you are using a premium theme, you do have access to the support page for your premium theme found here:

    Also, for what you are looking to do with the date and read more, I believe you will require some CSS customization. I only have some basic knowledge of CSS, so here is a link to the CSS customization support page, where Happiness Engineers who are experienced with CSS will be able to help: It will have something to do with changing the div.postdate and a.more-link span, if I’m not mistaken :)

    There is also an option to set up a Front Page template as it looks in the demo, if that is something you would be interested in trying on your front page. Here is a direct quote from the set-up page for your theme, as well as the link of where I found it.

    Widget-Only Front Page Template

    As you can see in the theme demo, we have a simple text widget on the front page. To set this up:

    Create a new page and assign it the “Widget-Only Front Page” template under Page Attributes.
    Set your new page as a Static Front Page under Settings → Reading.
    Go to Appearance → Widgets and add a text widget with some content to the “Front Page Widget” location.

    Hope this helps guide you in the right direction for what you are looking to achieve :)

    My apologies, I did not add the link that I referred to above:

    @balkaniantrade, this should do it for you.

    .postdata {
      display: none;

    thesacredpath thanks a lot!!!

    You are welcome.

    Hey guys,
    sacredpath, where exactly do I post that code?
    Thank you

    @joeyutah1, I see one site associated with your username, but it does not have the Premium or Business plan, which would be required in order to add the custom CSS.

    I also see a self-hosted WordPress site associated with your username via Jetpack, if you are talking about that site, then you would add custom CSS at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. Do note that CSS is theme specific and on the self-hosted site you are using a different theme, so the CSS is very likely going to be different.

    If you are not familiar with the web inspector in your browser, take a look at our support page on How to Find Your Theme’s CSS where you will find some brief screencasts to get you started with it. I find it an invaluable tool when working with CSS.

    For self-hosted WordPress sites, support is at

    How can I rremove the “Read more”?

    Hi @jeba94, since you are using a different theme, and since CSS is generally theme specific, can I ask you to create a new thread in the CSS Forum? Many thanks in advance.
