Remove extra lines of white space in heading
I am just starting out and am very new to wordpress. I am using baskerville 2 and am finding there is too much white space on my pages. I have the page title listed (I actually would like to hide this whole title section) and then instead just show the text. Any help would be great.
The blog I need help with is ashburtonnetballclub.wordpress.com.
That is how Baskerville 2 theme is designed. I see that most of your posts or page doesn’t have a featured image thereby making it look too white. Good featured images enhance the look of your site.
Having said that, if you are particular about Baskerville 2 theme and would like to make changes to your CSS, then you need to be in WordPress.com Premium or WordPress.com Business plan
Or you can try different themes that suit your site content
Did you check out Twenty Fifteen theme, it even has color schemes to change the look of your blog.
Hope that helps and let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you mummyhive. I would like to keep to Baskerville and I am on a wordpress premium plan.
Unfortunately I do not know any css so have no idea how to hide that title section. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Hi there – I’d be glad to help you with the CSS, but I’m not sure exactly what you’re trying to hide. If you can explain in more detail what you’d like to do, I’d be glad to assist.

Could you describe the “title section” you’re referring to, or better yet, take a screenshot and draw on it so I can see what you mean.
Here’s a guide on how to make a screenshot:
You can upload the screenshot – in a graphic format like JPG, PNG, or GIF – in your Media Library so I can see it. Thanks.
Also just a heads-up that since your site has a Premium plan, you’re entitled to live-chat and email support, accessible here:
You’re welcome to still post in these forums, but those other support avenues may be faster, and you’ll always get a staff reply.
