remove featured post
im using the “current theme” and im having a problem rearranging and/or removing the featured posts. i would like to organize my post by date. so the most recent post would be the first post on my page. any assistance would be greatly appreciated…
The blog I need help with is pennythreesixty.wordpress.com.
The blog linked to your username is using the Manifest theme. Is that the blog you mean? If not then please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question?
The default timezone is UTC time. If you have not set your own timezone on this page > Settings > General then you will have to edit any previously published posts and change the date/timestamps in the Publish module, after you set your timezone.
You must also go to Posts > All Posts, hover under the post title of the posts that say “Sticky” next to the title, click Quick Edit, uncheck the option “Make this post sticky”, click Update.
Also: Your front page takes too long to load, because you’ve got too many posts with too many images. First, endless scrolling isn’t user friendly. Second, for users with a slow connection the browser will time out before loading all the images, and your visitors will see nice big empty spaces instead of the images. You should limit the number of posts per page to only a few in Settings>Reading, and use the read-more tag to truncate them.
@panaghiotisadam thank you so much! i was able to fix the featured post problem and I will take heed to your advice on the “too many images on the page” …thank you!

Did the you follow the instructions I posted for you to rectify this?
Sorry about that stray “the”. :(
@TT: Not a timezone issue (couldn’t have been, with one post per month). The problem was two posts that had been marked as stickies.
