Remove "recent articles" and "more articles" from Oxygen WITHOUT CSS upgrade

    I am working on a website for a program for nonprofit with no budget to spend $30/yr to get rid of the “recent articles” and “more articles” floaters under the featured images on our main page.

    There MUST be a way to remove those bars without having to pay $30/yr to customize the CSS. Anyone have any tips or tricks?

    Have you done any searching? You cannot re-locate or hide any theme elements on any theme without a custom design upgrade. Even then what you can do is limited. CSS editing cannot be used to change the way any themes is designed to function. It can only be used to chnage appearance.

    Hi, there really isn’t a way to do that on the Oxygen theme without the CSS upgrade.

    The only suggestion I would have would be to use a static front page for your site, but you would then not have the slider at the top of the page.
