    Hey!

    Looking for some help regarding a new theme used on the blog http://www.ggooltip.co

    How can the text that comes up when hovering on pictures be removed? Also, it seems like my featured photos are getting cropped when they are displayed on the main site, how can this be fixed?

    Thanks.

    The blog I need help with is ggooltip.co.

    Hi there,

    How can the text that comes up when hovering on pictures be removed?

    That text is the title of your posts, and it appearing on hover is how the theme you chose is designed to work. You can see the same thing on the theme demo site at https://melodydemo.wordpress.com/

    To override your theme’s default behaviour in this case, add the following code to the Custom CSS panel in the Cutomizer:

    /*
    Prevent post title from displaying when hovering over post thumbnail on front page
    */
    .blog h2.entry-title {
    	visibility: hidden;
    }

    Also, it seems like my featured photos are getting cropped when they are displayed on the main site, how can this be fixed?

    The theme center-crops all featured images to fit in the space available for the post thumbnail on the front page. This cropping happens before the image is even loaded in your browser, so the only way to prevent it would be to modify the theme’s source code directly, and that’s not possible on WordPress.com.
