Hello my name is Jesse Bray and I’m trying to remove myself as the administrator for aipdlibrary.wordpress.com
This blog is a college library blog and I’m a student worker. I originally set the blog up/transferred the blog over from blogger and I’ll no longer be a student worker. I’ve already made my supervisor an administrative user and one other co-worker. So far they’ve had no luck removing my admin status or removing me as a user. I could be wrong about this, however I’ve read that this is something wordpress staff would have to take care of. If you’re able at all to help me out or at least point me in the right directions I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.
You also need to transfer ownership of the blog – a blog owner can’t be deleted from a blog
Dashboard >> My Blogs
Mouse over the blog address and several options will then drop down below the blog address – Transfer is one of them – just follow the instructions
IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure you type in the correct account for the To Address – there is no error checking on that other than the account needs to exist – if a spelling error is made but the account exists you can send the blog to the wrong account and staff help will be needed to retrieve the blog
