I am accumulating lists of revisions for my posts and pages. They are very annoying and take up space. I understand that we cannot remove these manually but is there any other way to disable this feature. So far these unnecessary revisions are one of the very few things I don’t like about WordPress. I would think that three or four … rather than twenty five …. would be more practical for most people.
The blog I need help with is thehappypianoprofessor.wordpress.com.
Revisions do not count against your available space and there’s no way to turn them off.
However, if you don’t want to see them any longer in the Post or Page Editors, simply uncheck the appropriate box in the Screen Options tab.
Thanks so much. It took me a while to find this since I didn’t know that the Screen Options appeared on the other side of my screen and varied with whatever I was seeing. And that I had to go into an individual edit screen to set it for all. But there it was!
It’s a perfect solution. If these revisions don’t count against my available space and I don’t see them there anymore ….. the problem is nicely solved. Without your help, I would never have found this. Thanks again ….
