Removing slug from home page
-
Hi,
how am I able to remove slug from my static front page. I tried to remove it from the page preferences, but it didn’t work. Then I turned off the static front page, removed the slug again and then the static front page on again. Still no luck.
When wisiting the page both addresses (www.eap-auto.fi and http://www.eap-auto.fi/etusivu) are working, but I would like to remove the latter altogether. The problem is, that when linked to the page for example from Facebook, the excerp and title only are visible in link when using the address /etusivu but not when using the site address http://www.eap-auto.fi.
Could you help? Thanks in advance! :)

http://www.eap-auto.fi/etusivu automatically redirects to https://eap-auto.fi. The URL you should use when sharing your site on Facebook is https://eap-auto.fi/ – note that there is no “www” in front of the domain.
To update Facebook’s cache, I visited their debugging tool at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and entered https://eap-auto.fi/ – then clicked the “Scrape Again” button to refresh its information about the site.
Let me know how it goes.
