Renew domain mapping
I have just renewed my domain mapping, but I still cannot receive email. It said it would take effect in a few minutes, it’s been an entire day and I still cannot send or receive email and my website is down.
What can I do?
The blog I need help with is hatchevents.com.

Thanks so much for checking tis out. The domain’s been renewed two days ago, but I’m still not getting my emails and my website’s still down. Do I just have to wait until it all syncs together?
Double check with your registrar to make sure the name servers are pointing to WordPress.COM
We require that your name server configuration include only the following servers or their numeric equivalents:
hatchglobal – could you please contact your registrar directly to confirm that your domain was correctly renewed, since the whois database is still showing the old expiry date, as you can see above.

Domain Helper said there was a problem with the name servers – but I have also seen problems with databases not maybe getting updated at the same time and some lag – so anymore I just suggest to double check with the registrar – seems to save confusion and I get called idiot less :)
Sure – it’s worth double-checking the name servers as well – couldn’t hurt!
thanks so much for all the help. you won’t believe it, but the company I renewed my domain name with took my payment and didn’t actually renew it. Anyway, they’ve sorted it out now. Three days without email!
