  • Hi there,

    We renew all plans and domains month before they expire in order to prevent your site from going offline if there’s a payment problem at the last moment. We sent you an email on 4 December 2017 to notify you of the upcoming renewal.

    At this point I cannot refund your renewal, as you’ve opened a dispute against us with your bank. By opening a dispute you have accused us of fraud, so the payment is now frozen pending an investigation by our payment processor. You will only receive a refund once they conclude their investigation, provided they decide in your favor, in about eight to twelve weeks.

    Additionally, all upgrades have been removed from your site and your site locked pending payment of a chargeback fee that’s been added to your account. You can read our full policy on chargebacks and disputes here:

    If you cancel the dispute with your bank we might still be able to reinstate your site and refund you ourselves. Please note, however, that your domain has already been renewed with the registry, so we cannot refund the renewal cost of the domain without completely cancelling the domain, which would mean you will no longer own the domain.
