Renewing domain name
I have a message that my domain name has expired, but I can’t find how to renew it. Any suggestions?
The blog I need help with is conduitstreet.mdcounties.org.
Did you purchase your domain name through WordPress.com?
I just took over this, but I believe we did. Not sure how to find out?
Go here > Store > My Upgrades and see if your domain mapping upgrade is the one that’s expiring.
Blogs belong to the username accounts that register them. Are you logging in under the username account that registered the blog, purchased the domain name and the domain mapping upgrade for the blog?
If you are not then you cannot renew the upgrade that the blog owner purchased without their involvement and Staff intervention.
Note that I have tagged this thread for Staff assistance.
It looks like our domain was registered by a staff person who has not been here for 3 years. Is there anyway I can get this changed to a different host name?
Oops – I tried logging on as another staff person – still coming from Leslie Velasco
I am very concerned that we will lose our domain – can someone please contact me tomorrow to update?

As I mentioned before, that staff person is no longer at our association and did not leave on good terms. Is there anyway we can handle this without her involvement in order to keep out blog alive?
Which domain name are you referring to?
The Domain Mapping for conduitstreet.mdcounties.org is good through 2013 and under your WordPress.com account.
If you’re referring to actually renewing the domain name mdcounties.org , that’s registered through Network Solutions, not us.
