Reposition banner image in Pilcrow?
Hello! I’d to move my banner image to the top of the page, so that my navigation links are below the image. So if you go to the site (http://www.rideformcbride.com), I want the logo on top. Secondly, how do I add space between these two things?
The blog I need help with is ridingthirdrail.wordpress.com.
Please be sure to read this article before starting your editing > http://csswiz.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/if-you-have-the-wp-com-css-upgrade/
Also note that CSS is theme specific here at wordpress.com, there is no official Staff support for the CSS upgrade, and precious little Volunteer support. Please be patient while waiting for one of the two Volunteers who help to sign in and locate this thread.
You can click this link and see if the question has been asked and answered previously. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/pilcrow
Also note that you need to allow for the navigation bar at the very top of the blog which I believe is 22 pix in height.
Browser’s developer tools for CSS editing > for Firefox, install Firebug. For Internet Explorer, install the Developer Toolbar.
Oof, I have no idea how I’ll go about only entering in my changes (in reference to your first link). This is way out of my league. I just wish I could move the banner…
Here’s the reality. We have only 2 Volunteers who help with CSS. Both have jobs. One is going to be extremely busy next week and we probably will not see him until the end of the week, if at all. The other Volunteer may or may not drop in ans help when he can.
