Reserved username URL

Good afternoon! I’m trying to set up another blog on my account, and I wanted to register, and it’s already reserved. After looking through the Help topics, I saw that sites are ‘reserved’ for each username. My username is roxannelliott, so I’m hoping this URL is reserved for me and I’m just being a dummy in activating it, somehow.

I should note that I have 2 other wordpress accounts. It’s possible that, once upon a time, I registered that username or wordpress URL under one of those two accounts. If that’s the case, and if I knew which one it was originally registered, I’m hoping I could go in to one of those accounts, re-activate the URL, and transfer it to this account.

Or, maybe there’s a much simpler solution. Thank you for your time!

Staff cannot violate privacy policy and provide email addresses as they are login information. doesn’t exist and can only be registered by the matching username account that it is reserved for and you have that account.

When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.

As you have registered the matching username account the blog is reserved for you and you can register it

However, if you changed your username then the blog URL will not be available for use under the new username account.

If the latter is not the case type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? Thank you, I didn’t know about the modlook tag. I am trying to register the wordpress URL for my current username, and that’s why I’m perplexed. I tried logging out; clearing out my caches, cookies, and history; then logging back in (as I’d seen recommended in other threads) but no dice. Thanks for your help, and I’ll await moderator review.

OK, I take it back. I went through another method: typed my username wordpress domain into the URL bar, got a message saying this site doesn’t exist, but offering to let me register it (I swear earlier in the day this page said it was reserved, instead). I went through the motions, expecting it to reject me again, but this time it went through.

I deleted the modlook tag, so hopefully the mods won’t waste time looking into it, now. Unless they already did and that’s why it worked this time.

    Or gnomes.
