I’m currently directing people to Feedburner when they click on “SUBSCRIBE TO OUR BLOG” or “Subscribe in a reader” but my boss wants me to figure out a way that allows people to still have options of what to choose as well as something that still works in Internet Explorer, like how you can subscribe directly in IE to a feed that doesn’t get directed to Feedburner. My boss likes one step processes instead of two step processes but he also wants something that is as universal as can be.
The blog I need help with is myexploreusa.wordpress.com.
Also, we are looking to put our RSS feed button on our website http://www.neverlost.com and that’s another reason we need to figure out which place we should direct people to. I’m aware that if you don’t use Feedburner, Google Chrome will only display xml. Like I said, we need the most universal thing possible but he also likes how you can subscribe directly in Internet Explorer, where it adds it to your Common Feed list. For example: http://www.top-windows-tutorials.com/RSS-In-IE.html
I’m not really sure what the best option is. I’ve seen a lot of people who use Feedburner but he seems to want that plus more options and I don’t know how to make it work. Please help!
All Word-press blogs have multiple built-in feeds.
This is the URL for the RSS feed for your posts:
This is the URL for the RSS feed for your comments:
The RSS Links Widget allows you to add links to your blog’s post and comment RSS feeds in your sidebar. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/rss-links-widget/
I’m sorry I copied and pasted above without changing the URLs.
Th syntax is the same for every WordPress blog.
You’re welcome. :)
The problem with the RSS Feed is, that the message ist:
“Dynamisches Lesezeichen”, that means “bookmark”!!
So our friends and clients cannot subscribe to our blog:
I also tried
and got the same message!
That must have changed because we already have subscribers.
Can you help please, thank you!
