RSS Feeds are only shoiwng short summaries

  1. I want to have my RSS feeds for my blog to show the full text, the entire article, I've been hearing from other topics on this site that WordPress does that, but no matter what I do, the feed only shows summaries.

Even on settings > reading on my dashboard, there's an option to show either full text or a summary in a feed, it's set to full text, yet they still only show summaries. It doesn't seem to make a difference on the blog itself, so what's that option for?

So is it true that Wordpres blogs can display RSS feeds? If so, how do I do it with mine?

The blog I need help with is

  2. Hi,

I just checked your RSS feed and it displayed full content to me. Have you got this issue solved?

  3. Well, when I view the RSS feed on Firefox's RSS feed viewer, it only shows a summary, but when I subscribe to it through a RSS reader website like Ino Reader, it shows the full text.

However, when I put the feed on my own website, it still only shows the summaries.

I think this is a problem with the host of the website I'm putting the RSS feed on, and not WordPress, sorry for wasting your time.

  4. Actually, one last thing, is there any way to get rid of the "Add to facebook" and "Tweet It!" links from the bottom of the articles?

  5. Hi,

That seems to be the Publicize feature you are mentioning. Modify it by going to Setting -> Sharing.
