RSS Feeds/Widgets/HTML Code IN PAGE

  1. Hi I am trying to put an news feed on my blog ( in the form of a HTML widget or RSS Feed... I know you can do it in the side bar, however, I would like it on an actual page?

    If anyone could help I'd be really grateful!

  2. Pages do not have RSS feeds only Posts do. There is no way you can use any widget here in a page or in a post. They can only be used in widget areas (sidebars and footers). There is no way you can draw from a RSS feed and fill a blog with auto posted content. It's not allowed.

    Types of blogs that are not allowed:
    Automated blogs: Blogs that are generated by computers, including randomly generated blogs, blogs that re-publish press releases, marketing material, search engine results, link dumps or any other mass-produced content.

  3. All WordPress blogs are equipped with multiple built-in RSS Feeds. Your blog RSS feed for posts is valid and operational

    I'm really sorry if I'm getting confused this is my first time setting something like this up!

    I don't want to fill the blog with auto content... just a News page

  9. I'm sorry I could not provide what you wanted. May I suggest you read this comparison?

  10. Also note what we do have. The RSS Widget displays posts from any RSS feed in the sidebar or footer area for widgets.

  11. I looked at .org but I don't think I have the skills to use it!

  12. Then all you can do is use the RSS Widget.
