Scribe with OAuth authorization for WordPress.com blogs

  1. Hi,

I understand that Scribe has a plugin for WordPress.com that is accepted now by WP with "OAuth authorization."

    Here are my quests:

    1. Is it true that we can use Scribe on WP.com now?
    2. What is OAuth authorization?
    3. Is this plugin a good idea? viable? worth it? for WP.com to optimize SEO?

    (Please speak baby-talk bcz I am not a tekkie ; - >

    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is sylverblaque.wordpress.com.

  2. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into them Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

    Question: What is OAuth authorization?
    Answer: Please use Google search.

  3. I did a search and I found this for you > Announcing Support for OAuth2 and New Developer Resources

To continue providing support for developers who build applications that integrate with WordPress.com, we’re announcing support for OAuth 2, as well as a new developer portal, develop.wordpress.com.

  4. Great, thanks timethief! This is very helpful. But let me just ask, what do you think about all this? Foresee any probs? You always give wise advise, so just wondering your thoughts about this...
