Script code remove from Widget
When I try and add a text/html widget to my sidebar any code within the <Script> enclosure is removed when I click Save making the widget not work.
For example I’m trying to add a Twitter widget and this portion of code from it is removed when I click Save:
Anyone know why this is happening?
The blog I need help with is sweetcherriepie.com.
Code that is not allowed on our multiuser platform will be stripped.

~~G’day Tess :)
Oh, but here is info about putting a Twitter widget in your sidebar:
Thanks guys I will look into it.
The reason I wanted to use Twitter’s widget rather than the WP.com one is cos the latter returns an error lots of the time. I guess that could just be Twitter though.
If you are getting errors then you can try the reconnecting process described here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-twitter
You shouldn’t see errors all the time for a Twitter feed. :-| I just looked at your blog and the Twitter widget was working fine when I checked (I know it’s just one check though).
Side note: Did you see the new Twitter announcement? There’s a new follow button that you might like: 3 New Ways to Attract More Twitter Followers from WordPress.com
Yes I saw that announcement which got me started on this topic ;)
The Theme I’m using is MistyLook which has green links but I’ve added some Custom CSS to change that to red. This works for all links except for my Twitter name next to the new Follow button, which still appears in green :(
