Search widget brings people to an overview post

    Hi!

    My blog is being used for people want to search different stores on a particular street (l’avenue du Parc in Montreal, Canada). I put the search widget so people can enter, for exemple, ABC and eventually find the right store.

    The branding of the blog is really slick and I don’t want such things as timestamp etc.

    My problem is:

    When I search for a store, it brings me to an overview of the post it is in. I’d like it to go directly to the post, without having to click on “Read more” (which is « Lire la suite » in french).

    Is that even possible with a WordPress.com ?

    It’s theme dependent: you need a theme that displays full posts on archive pages. See here which themes don’t do:
