Segmenting out Email Subscribers? Can we do this on some posts?

    Hi there,

I would love to take part in the daily prompts from WordPress, but honestly I don’t think my email subscribers would want to see these posts. So I don’t do them currently. Is there a way to post something, and be able to send only to WordPress followers? Not email subscribers? Thanks!

The blog I need help with is afitandfocusedfuture.com.

It is not possible to send notifications of new posts only to a select group of “followers”. Also, whoever signs up to follow your site has a variety of ways to receive notifications of new posts. Email is just one of them.

opinion/you could set up an entirely separate site just for these posts, but the Daily Prompt is a tool for creating posts and traffic. Why not try a few and ask your readers for feedback? /opinion

Thanks so much. I appreciate the feedback. Yeah, I had been thinking about that: setting up a new blog but you end up starting from scratch and do not drive traffic to the main site. Will think about your suggestion about testing the daily prompts on the email subs…again, thank you!
