Sending posts to pages?

(Please don’t send me the difference between page and post, I’m well aware of what each is lol)

I have different types of posts: personal/reviews/pictures etc., and was wondering if you can automatically send posts to pages, so for instance I can have a page with just my reviews on, a page with just my photos on, a page with my personal on etc.
Oh, and not just wondering IF I could, but also HOW I could if I can :)
    thanks in advance

The blog I need help with is

    Yes. Easily.

Use Categories. Categorize all your Reviews with “Review” etc. Then use a custom menu to link to the category page for that category. That will show up like this category on my blog: only you will have a tab in your header for it so it looks like a regular page.

timetheif I don’t understand your answer, sorry

could someone (not particularly someone who has already answered, just anyone who sees this) please tell me how to get my categories into pages now I’ve categorised my posts? Thanks x

When we publish post they automatically appear on Categories Pages and in Archives pages.

Note: There must be one published post in each Category in order for there to be anything to display.

A custom menu allows you to display Categories with drop-downs to sub-categories in tabs along the horizontal navigation where normally only Pages tabs are displayed. If you wish you can also include Pages with drop-downs to sub-pages and/or custom links in your custom menu as well. You are in charge of what appears in a custom menu. You choose the order in which to display any and/or all the foregoing in your custom menu. You choose which to display and which to hide.

What you want to do is to create a custom menu and then you can include the categories in the custom menu. You can also include any pages (about, etc.) that you wish. Then when someone clicks on a category name in the top navigation, they will be presented with a list of posts in that particular category.

    1. You create a custom menu.

    2. You add the Categories you want to display in it across the horizontal menu bar at the top of your blog and arrange them in the order you want. Example: Reviews

    3. When you have everything arranged in the menu that you want you click “save the menu”.

    4. You go to the “theme location” module at upper left on the menu page. Select your custom menu name from the pull-down labeled “primary location.” Click the save button in that module.

    5. You refresh your browser so that it isn’t possibly pulling a cached page, and view see your new menu.

I’m giving up on this lol
Thanks for all your help anyway raincoaster, timethief and thesacredpath

It’s just saying “Your theme supports 1 menu. Select which menu you would like to use.” So it’s making it that i can only have a page for reviews OR personal OR photoblog etc.
    Thanks for everything though guys

@amibecker Don’t give up because it can be done and is worth the effort.
As @timethief says follow this (especially the video demo at the end).
I was really confused on how to set this up but the video along with the explanation above made it easier.
My 2nd blog is set up with this here (although there isn’t much happening in the menu yet as the blog is new).
    Give it a go

Also, a Menu is the entire collection of tabs at the top of a site. Each tab is a “menu item” NOT a menu. You can have one top menu, but that menu can have as many menu items (pages, categories, tags, custom links, etc.) as you want to put on it (or is practical due to the space available).

    Heyy I did it :D
    Thanks to you lot
thanks for some much for your time, help and patience to see all of your handiwork lol :)
    Thankyou! xx

YES! I see your custom menu. I knew you could do it. Blog on! :)
