Set front page for sharing
I am trying to set the front page for Facebook and LInkedin as the only page for sharing. I set show buttons to: Front Page, Archive Pages, and Search Results only, and did not check the other options. The setting failed and did not show FB and Linkedin icons on the front page. When I set it to include pages the icons appeared. How can I select only the front page for sharing?
The blog I need help with is lisarhodeconsulting.com.
The issue may be that your front page is a static page and not your posts page. I would have to do some digging to check on this. But when you have a static front page, it is really just a page that you have designated to be the front page. So if you do not click the “pages” tic-box, I have a feeling that the buttons will not show up.
Yes, my front page is a static page. Can the reading and sharing settings allow for the static page to be the front page through the WP admin, or do the settings only allow the front page to be set as posts? If likes and share’s can’t be confined to a static front page with WP settings, can I code it with CSS?
Also, I want Welcome to be set as a static page on the main navigation, this is where I am trying to set the shares and likes; this should be the only page for sharing. However, when Welcome is set as the front page the sharing buttons are not visible on it.

That may be possible.
I would suggest making a post on the CSS Customization forum here:
Lots of good advice there and knowledgeable people.
