Share This Problem: Facebook, Twitter, Email

  1. I have a free blog page on WordPress. I want to add, at the end of each blog post, a simple "share this" button, allowing readers to share each individual post by email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

I've goggled everywhere trying to figure this out (forums, ShareThis, AddThis. Either the code doesn't show up properly on the page or the application is too complicated for the reader (i.e. I've also copied and pasted a ton of code, but nothing seems to work. I've some temporary, but complicated code there at the moment).

I am familar with basic HTML and am looking for basic a HTML code or simple generator I can use with each post. Some pages talk about "plugins," but I don't think I can use them, and no idea how I would upload/download even if I could.

    Thank you.

We have no FTP access to blogs and cannot upload plugins. There is not way that we can edit templates here as we cannot even access the files on this multiuser blogging platform, and without being able to do that we cannot insert the code required to have social bookmarks automatically appear on out posts. However, we do have several social bookmarking oprions at See here for all the options>

I went to your blog and saw the social bookmarks on your 2 most recent posts. :) If you have a twitter account and/or a Facebook account and you use the ones from getsociallive then after you publish they will automatically be updated. :)
You're welcome and happy blogging. :)
