Sharedaddy slider caption issue

    Hi there,

I am running the Sharedaddy plugin, electing to include a Share button on my pages and posts, minus the homepage. Each post is a video profile with a short blurb. The video content is also available in the front page slider, where the Share button also shows up, in the caption.

I don’t really get why SD is showing up on the slide, when I have only specified that it show up on pages and posts, and the edit slide page gives me no on-off option either. That said, it’s fine. Share away. However, with my theme (Ghostpool: Supermassive), the only way I have found for the SD option to show up in a pleasing way is to use a button with dropdown sharing options. The issue here is that the dropdown menu does not appear in front of all other graphics, and gets partially obscured by the slider’s outside frame.

Please advise either how I can get the dropdown menu to show up as the very top layer, or how I can stop the share button from showing up in the slide caption. Thank you.
