Sharing to two Facebook pages?

  1. I have a personal Facebook page and a professional one. I'd like to have my blog posts go to both, but I'm not seeing that option under Sharing. Is it possible?

    Thanks -- Alisa

The blog I need help with is

  2. Are you referring to Publicize?

    Facebook Pages
If you would like to Publicize your posts to your Facebook page, instead of your Facebook profile, click on the “Set Options” link underneath Facebook on your Settings > Sharing page. You will need to connect your blog to Facebook first. You will need to use a Facebook account that has a Profile with administrative rights to the Page.

Note: A Page-only account can not be used with Publicize. The Facebook account must have a profile.

Alternatively you can use Networked Blogs or RSS Grafitti for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer.

RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify.

You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

  3. I have looked around and really don't know enough to figure out what you mean. Right now it's going to my facebook profile. It says "There are no facebook pages you manage" below that.

I want all of my wordpress posts to go to my personal facebook AND my professional facebook (public) -- do I have to do the Graffiti things to do two at once?

  4. I have exactly the same question. I want my posts to go to my personal Facebook and my blog's facebook page. How can we do this? Is this explained in the support page? I couldn't find enough info.

  5. You can do it manually. You can share your stuff manually on profile and page too. Auto sharing is a mess. Te posts never show in the news feed so always do share links of your content to facebook manually clicking standard share buttons.

  6. Ok, thank you!

  7. You're welcome.
