Shorting blog Post

    How do I shorten a blog post? I wrote a post that was 600 words. Is there away to only make the first paragraph show and then if folks want to read more they’ll click a “read more” button that opens up the rest of the post? I’ve seen it on blogs other places.

    Yes there are several ways to split content. You most likely want to use “the more tag”. Please see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

    Would you please either link your wordpress.com username to your wordpress.com blog or post the URL for the blog in question when you post to this forum? Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

    Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog can be instantly located.
