Should I post my own jokes on my Blog?

  1. I'm a joke writer and stand up comic, and I'm in a pickle. I am pondering whether to post my one liner gags on my blog and risk them being unscrupulously nicke . I have copywrited most of them (though its pointless) but was thinking of posting a jokes daily from what I've wrote that day?

The blog I need help with is

  2. You definitely should!!! Its your blog...people that read it want to know you and what better way then through your sence of humor! I think it would be a great idea!

  3. I don't see why not. Have 'em on your 'Jokes' page, maybe. Or break up the jokes posts with other posts to keep things fresh.

  4. Lots of comedians such as Jimmy Carr post jokes regularly on Twitter, which I thought would cause much more concern for theft than from your own blog. It's unlikely that your next audience will trawl through all of your site, so I wouldn't worry.

  5. It would be great to add jokes to your blog, look forward to reading them.

  6. My advice is,...
    Never pet a burning dog.

But yes, post your jokes on your blog. Would love to read them.

  7. Do it then I can tell them my friends and claim them as me own!

  8. come on you can trust the internet, it's not like anything even remotely funny is copied and pasted ad nauseum year after year after year until it makes you wanna cry

  9. What else is a blog other than putting your thoughts out there for the whole world to copy?
