Side bars moved

  1. Hi,

I have been editing and posting to my blog today - and I viewed my work and the sidebars have moved below all the posts.
They used to be next to the most recent (top) post.
Now they appear after the final post this month... a long way down.
I'm not sure what I have inadvertantly done - but if someone can tell me how to fix it - I would be eternally greatful!!

  2. You're sidebars seem fine ti me. But I'm half asleep now. lol But you have large pictures there and in my experience, anything over 400 pixels wide screws up the page. Some people have said their sidebars end up at the bottom of the page. Try resizing them to lower than 400 pixels wide. But using thumbnails would be better so your visitors with dial-up internet will have an easier time going through your site and loading your pictures. Your site might run quicker too.

  3. Thanks,

I took the border off one of the images - and it "fixed itself"
    all good

  4. oops - no its wrong again

  5. I just deleted all the images I added today - and the side bar is still in the wrong place.
I suspect it might be somehing else?
    Any other suggestions?

  6. This doesn't sound like a picture size issue anymore although that's the most common reason for what you describe. You can send in a feedback (button is on the top right hand of dashboard)or email [email redacted].

  7. Looks fine to me using Netscape 7.2 at 1280 x 1024. Ditto with IE 6.0.2900.

  8. I am using IE 6.0.2800.1106 - maybe an upgrade will help. - will try that.
Interesting that its fine for a specific post - just not for the "main site"

I'll send in some feedback if the upgrade doesn't work.

    Thanks for your help guys.

  9. Hi, guys... My sidebar get crazy since my blog was translated to Spanish.
Trying to see what's wrong I notice that the problem is in the new widget Páginas, which's got another size and doesn't look well. Can you help me?

  10. jazzclub - go to dashboard on the top right hand corner is a feedback button. You can use it to send a message to staff. IMO this is a backend issue and we can't help you with it on the forum.

  11. Thanks, I've done it, but I was afraid I was trying to get to the wrong place. Should I wait for an answer or to find the problem solved?
