You do realize that not all themes display sidebars on the blog posts, right?

Yes I do. But I had used 2012 for about ten days and it worked. Then the sidebar went missing, so I’m trying 2012 which also has sidebars in the design

I’m using another design while I figure this out. But even this one doesn’t show the blogroll or useful links, both of which I consider to be important. It’s about sharing and networking. I have the links set as visible btw.

All is well. It’s not exactly what I had in mind, but after much tinkering around it’s fully functional. Merry Christmas everyone

Give up on that idea. Use the Category widget and if you categorized them all appropriately “Chicken recipes” “Rice recipes” etc, they will be easily sorted.

thanks for your reply, I am using categories too,
if all the recipes show up in sidebar my visitors will increase just like before, I don’t understand why they change it to only 50 posts!
on the other hand the visitors won’t ask me about the recipe I posted before for example 8 months ago, because they can find it in the list, like any other cooking weblogs…
