Sidebar has moved
I looked and I’m having trouble seeing WHY this happened, but it looks to be the result of the last few posts (starting with “It happened today, 2012”) displaying at full-width instead of sticking to the left column.
Do you have the Custom CSS Upgrade, and did you make any changes recently?
These posts also aren’t taking on the css for Infinite Scroll so maybe you could try turning off Infinite Scroll to see if that makes a difference?
I’m a little stumped. Does anybody else see something obvious that I don’t?
Hi David – there appears to be a problem in this post specifically:
When I limit your homepage to two posts, your sidebar is in the right spot:
But the moment I add a third, the layout gets thrown off:
To troubleshoot, you might try removing all your manually-added paragraph tags in that post and let WordPress generate them for you automatically. You may just have a missing closing or opening tag throwing things off. If that doesn’t help, I’d suggest removing your span tags as well and see if that does it.
Let me know how it goes.
Span and p tags don’t cause such layout issues. 99 times out of 100, the problem is one or more stray div tags. In this case the stray div tag is in the code of this post (main page only):
There’s no wrong code in the actual content of the post. The post is malformed because its format has been set to gallery but no images have been uploaded to it. That’s a shortcoming on this particular theme. Edit the post, set its format to standard, update.
Hopefully I have cured it…the post at http://lifeissuchabeach.wordpress.com/2013/03/04/marina-abramovic-meets-ulay/ was lacking in an image and was also set to gallery.
Copied a new youtube code and set it correct…fingers crossed…thanks for the assistance from all..proved to be a great help.
