Site is completely dead, front page won’t load keeps reloading/redirecting itself
Of course support is on yet another getaway and can’t be contacted.The blog I need help with is valentlau.com.
Only affecting sites with custom URL option
And only on FireFox
The site linked to your name loads fine for me on Firefox – did you just change something or start domain mapping – are you having trouble with other blogs? if so we need the URL to the blogs in quesiton.
That is the only one that was broken. And only the main page ie if I URL to a post it’s fine.
And now it’s magically working.I haven’t changed any setting the whole week.
OK It’s magically happening again, but only with the 1st post.
support is still on holidays til end of month
and now it’s magically working again, a few hours later… ???!!!???
Go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “save changes.”
Now, open your 1st post in the editor, make one minor change such as adding and then deleting a space, and then click “update post.” Check your blog and if it is back to normal, you are golden. This could have something to do perhaps with a bit of messed up HTML in the post.
Also, log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, and restart your computer just on the off chance that it is a caching or perhaps even a local DNS caching issue on your computer.
