Site posts/photo gallery

  1. I am using the Oxygen theme. I have my slider working finally and have been able to use my primary and secondary sidebars. However, I am having trouble manipulating the space right below the slider. I'd like to add a photo gallery there and then have a list of available articles after that. What is that area called? How do I manipulate it to show what I need?

The blog I need help with is centralpawccc.wordpress.com.

  2. Howdy zaktansky!
I am not exactly sure, which place are you talking about, if you have a look at your theme page here Oxygen Theme page.
As you have correctly set up the Primary bar that is the Left-hand sidebar, if you want to add more widgets below your secondary bar, you can do so by adding more widgets to the secondary bar, as you mention if you would like to have the gallery, you can set up the Gallery Widget
Also, the articles will appear, one's you start setting up the Posts and configure them. The theme page will provide you more details too.

Also, you can specify more details, of what you would like to achieve.
You can let me know how it goes, would be happy to assist you further.

  3. @zaktansky,

These questions have largely been addressed by Happiness Engineer @dcoleonline in your related topic Where is my slider?

  4. Is your photo gallery specfic to your theme? I have been trying to figure out how to implement a gallery and even used Flickr but it doesn't load because it's flash. If it's not exclusive to your theme can you share what you did to make a gallery?

    Thanks in advance.

  5. @rpo24,

Please start a new thread, here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1, because how to create a gallery is not a part of this topic. Regardless of the theme applied, you may create galleries and insert them into pages and posts on any WordPress.com site.
